Takeo Tak
Yuki
We would like to pay tribute to our father, Takeo Yuki. Through courage and determination, he established five generations of the Yuki Family.
Born in 1905 to an immigrant mother and father from Hiroshima, Japan, Takeo Yuki rose from being a share cropper to the founder of the Salinas Valley Vegetable Exchange Company. Between 1935 and 1960, SVVE was the largest grower-shipper company in the Salinas Valley. As the result of his success, he helped countless number of Japanese American families and various organizations recover from their ordeal during the post war period.
